- From any C, in any octave. A third below moves down the menu. A third above moves up.
- The fifth (G) selects. On a setting, the thirds change it and the fifth again lets go.
- Hold a third to go faster. One key at a time: chords are just music.
- On Key, the fifth opens the circle of fifths. Play the tonic you want.

House rules
- Each chord is judged on its own: hold its notes in time with the band.
- The bass has the root, so you only need the 3rd and the 5th (triads) or the 3rd and the 7th (seventh chords). Any octave, any voicing.
- Land on the downbeat for a Perfect. Within the first beat is Good. Later is Late. Nothing, or three wrong notes, is a Miss.
- 9ths, 11ths and 13ths are never wrong. They score a Spicy bonus.
- Good voicings score too: Smooth voice leading (every note within a whole step of the last chord), Rootless, Shell, Quartal, Open, any inversion, and an Upper structure on a dominant. Up to +100 a chord. A wrong note spoils it.
- Each chord you land lights the ghosts up, left to right. A ghost fully lit joins the band. A miss drains them, and a dark ghost leaves.
