PDF to MIDI, note for note.
Drop a score exported as PDF from MuseScore, Dorico, Sibelius or Finale and get a MIDI file back: pitches, rhythms, ties, tuplets, grace notes, key and time signatures.
Why so exact? Those PDFs are not pictures: every notehead, clef and accidental is a symbol from a music font placed at a precise position, and every stem, beam and barline is a vector line. We read that structure directly instead of guessing from pixels. Scans, photos and image-only PDFs are read from their pixels instead. It works on clean printed music, but expect to fix a few notes.
